Excited about what the Lord is doing in these last days before His return....I'm glad to have the privilege of working for Him!
Spent some time in Haiti in March of this year...met some wonderful people who have a passion for the things of God. Excited about working with them to accomplish great things. The goal is to build a Bible college/training facility/church in Petit-Goave and then extend from there by building preaching points in various villages. The diesel block maker that we are purchasing along with a gas powered cement mixer will be used to make blocks for the building of the main training facility and then to build additional village churches. We feel we can build our own blocks much cheaper than buying them plus be able to control the quality.
We are taking a group from our church in July to Haiti to see the work, build blocks and work to help move the building project forward in Petit-Goave. Bro. Gray is our district superintendent and we will be working with him to provide training material and support to train and prepare ministers for pastoring so that we can fulfill the initial goal of planting 100 churches in Haiti. We have wonderful people in our church who are spending hours retyping many Bible courses to be translated into French for Haiti and Hindi for India. We will be providing as much material as needed to see the church as a whole grow and move forward with solid, Bible based teaching material.
We will also will be working with our Indian brother, Bro. Samuels. We are looking at being a part of church plants there as well and working to install fresh water wells in various villages as fresh, clean water in both Haiti and India are a much needed necessity. We hope to bless them with fresh water. It's amazing what we can take for granted as a given right here in America but is a matter of life and death in other countries.....fresh, clean water that won't make you sick.....we're blessed!
Also looking forward to having Bro. Louissaint from Haiti in church with us in June to preach for a weekend.
Great things happening in the work of the Lord.....a good time be living for Him and walking with Him..... don't be weary in well doing, for in due season, you shall reap if you faint not! His return is going to sneak up on so many who are living life without much regard to walking faithfully with Him and it will catch them unawares but for those that are striving to walk close to Him and are listening for that call, it's going to be a great day when He calls us home! Keep on marching Christian soldier in the power of the Holy Ghost and the beauty of His name and holiness!
