Galatians 5:22-23
22. But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23. meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
True LOVE in our lives becomes a love-feast of benevolence toward others which causes JOY in our lives creating a calm delight, leading then to PEACE which is a quiet spirit that seeks unity & to avoid strife, causing us then to be LONGSUFFERING which is a long enduring temper, being patient & lenient to others as we try to be the conduit thru which God can bless and change their lives. As we truly begin to imitate Jesus, we take on His nature of GENTLENESS which is an endowment of the Holy Ghost producing a kind & moral excellence, not only in our character, but shows itself in our everyday demeanor with others, creating then GOODNESS exemplified in a life of virtue & benefit to God's work & people. Then FAITH builds in our spirits which leads to a resolute & quiet trust in God's ways & deliverance, trusting Him when there seems to be no way which then builds faith in others. To continue becoming more like Jesus, we must take on His Spirit of MEEKNESS being a mildness in spirit, transitioning from our own personality & ways to becoming a comely & beautiful ambassador of Jesus Christ, being kind & not quick to retaliate in revenge or spite which then allows the fruit of TEMPERANCE to grow in our lives which is a Godly self control in all areas of our lives, showing forth the love, mercy & compassion of Jesus in a way that the world can truly feel & see a reflection of Jesus in us.
